MyFax App–Send and Receive Fax App Reviews

Love the website but the mobile app wont work (cant save contacts, send or view faxes) Keeps saying a network connection is lost-try again later. Disappointing.

Crashes every time I run on my iphone 5s. Disappointing.

Would prefer to give ZERO stars, but it wasnt an option. This app doesnt work. Its great in theory, but the app only allows you to login and then crashes immediately once you select send or view faxes. Please fix this!!

Signing up takes 2 mins. The service works as promised. And at $9.99/mo its affordable - but GOOD LUCK CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT. I had to cancel my credit card number & receive a new one. Spent several hours in vain before finally making that decision.

Despite my best efforts, it would not allow me to log in with any combination or get password help.

I tried logging into the app with my account info and it kept failing. Contacted MyFax support and they said that our account (which is pretty large) is still residing on their old servers and are therefore incompatible with the mobile app, and they had no timeline on when our account was going to be moved over. In my opinion, they jumped the gun on releasing the app, as it doesnt appear that there are many people able to even use it.

Looks like its sending. Tells you its sent. BUT IT DOESNT SEND! I learned this the hard way with a very important document. Found out once I went to Internet version - but it was too late in that case. Subsequent testing showed that this app does not send faxes. Itll tell you its sending them. Dont believe it. Stick with desktop version!

The app works great. I usually just take a picture and send it to my own myfax and forward via email to ensure receipt. I had to download this app because when I fax to MyFax from our office fax machine my faxes not going through consistently like they use to. Other colleagues have efax and receive fine from our office fax machine. Not sure what the issue there is.

This app is useless apparently since I cant login. Probably same issue as other reviewers: "account is still on their other server".

Echoing the same issues others have. MyFax claims this can do everything but in reality only after they move your account to their new servers. If your login fails, as most seem to do, you get a cryptic error message. Contacting support informs you that you need to be on their new servers and theres no timeline for actually doing that. --- Delete.

I read all the reviews saying that the App wont log in or it wont send a fax. The App actually works but it is certainly user unfriendly and requires extreme effort and tenacity for iPad users. After multiple attempts to log in with my seven digit MyFax ID number, all of which failed, I tried my ten digit 800 number (fax number) instead and that worked! The second problem was that MyFax would not locate or attach the PDF file I wished to fax. I store my documents in Readdle Documents and PDFReader Pro but neither apps were recognized by the MyFax app. I eventually solved the problem by moving the PDF file into Dropbox, then opening the PDF in Dropbox, selecting the "Open in..." dialog and selecting "MyFax". That process successfully attached the PDF to the MyFax send app and the rest of the MyFax interface worked as intended(for sending). Unfortunately, the app does not show the Sent Faxes list accurately so I was not able to confirm the proper sending of the fax unless I used Safari to log in to the MyFax website. And even then, the website isnt configured for iOS mobile devices because the Sent Faxes list was partially obscured by another display box. All in all, the app works but it was torturous to use.

Cant attach documents from phone or cloud services although the popup messages in the app tell you you can. Called support and the guy says the app cant to that... then I tell him the messages say it can... then he says he is not familiar with the app. pooooo. if it worked, this would be amazing. too bad

Can not login. Needs a lot more improvement. Get with it MyFax, get it figured out. You have a great fax service just work on the App.

Cannot Login, app cannot find fax number to even start the app setup

Good website and service. Bad app. Customers deserve a better app. Please work on it.

I had no issues logging in as others have complained about. Its easy to view previous faxes. I would recommend this app.

Works fine, actually faster than slow website

So far it works great for me. Its convenient since I check my emails and faxes on my phone all the time.
