MyFax App–Send and Receive Fax App Reviews

I signed up for this a year ago because Aiken needed something for important medical and financial paperwork. We got a landline this fall, so I asked to have my subscription cancelled before my billing date in November. They said I had to call. I explained that I cannot use a phone because I have a paralyzed vocal cord. Then they suggested I use chat. My account was billed for November, but I hadnt even used the service for months before that. I tried chat, and couldnt get it to work. December, January and now February went by. I finally got chat to work this afternoon, but after getting $40 from me for nothing because of a discriminatory company policy, they refused to refund my money.

installed the app. I have two myfax accounts. Does not recognize either number. unusable. please fix. zero stars

This is a mobile interface to a paid web application. It would be helpful to mention that somewhere in the description. The app is blissfully free of any kind of information. This looks like a case of developers bring so into their product they dont realize that the rest of the community may not be as informed. If you are a user of the web app this might be a good companion to it. I am not interested enough to find out.

I installed the app - I currently have a myfax account that works perfectly, but this app doesnt recognize my fax number or password! Please fix this ASAP! Ill give one star only because I like the idea of being able to send/receive faxes from my phone, but its useless for now.

Downloaded app; shows almost 500 OLD faces in my inbox on the app icon. The app not the web interface allows or has a "Delete all" function to select and clear all faces in the inbox at one time. Started trying to delete one page at a time, got frustrated and deleted app. Please add this feature. Doesnt make sense not to have it. Ive got better things to do with my "time"..... Thanks for the try.

I didnt know that I have to have this app on a computer in order to use it in my mobile! This is useless.

Ive used myfax for years. With OCR apps...I thought that Id try this. It worked great to send a photo file! (I couldnt figure out how to Send a doc).

App is functional it lets me send and look up received faxes. Not so good at notifying me in a reasonable time that I have a fax. Also whoever I select myfax as the app to send my documents it crashes first then have to open to send fax and magically the document is attached ready to send. Also this is the 21st century it shouldnt take over 6 months to update an app for new OS and the new iPhone 6 resolution. The GU is horribly designed as well.

I have been a customer for over 14 years....but since I am an old customer my account does not use the mobile feature!! Customer Service tell me they have not upgraded those accounts! If you cant provide service to ALL your customers (especially loyal ones) dont bother!! Total disappointment!!

Pretty decent app. Rather than giving error messages for a timed out login, it should just return you to the login in screen. Its slightly frustrating

I have an iPhone and Ive used MyFax in the past with no issues, heck before all this extra. I loved the ability to be able to sign in through the app on my iPhone but this last update took a dump and now Ive been getting a failed login through my iPhone. Works well on my Laptop which is why I gave the extra star but the whole reason for using myfax was so I can send things on the go with just a snap of my camera phone which is No longer available. Boo!! Your tech people need to allow this app/service to continue running on all iPhones (4,4s, 5, 6+ you get what Im saying) and not just dump the long-term users Especially when WE pay for the service. Its super frustrating to pay the fee, download, use it 1 time and then not be able to access because you guys decided to update. Talk about a rip-off. Canceling is my next option. I may return if you guys can get it together.

Only reason theres a star at all is because its not an option to have none. You reach the same supervisor each time you call they dont know how to file a complaint and it ends with them. Everyones either dumb or lying and rude. How can a company charge you and everything is unsuccessful? Doesnt make sense to me but they charged me anyways. What was supposed to be a trial period of 30 days they started taking money in 22 and instead of $10 it was $37.10 and they actually told me their not refunding my money. STAY AWAY THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! Fax the traditional way. However convenient and great you think this could be get over it, it doesnt work.

I love it since they fixed the bugs in the app that allow u to forward send or save the faces from you in box. For years this wasnt an option. Everything is just like the desktop version.

Fax app worked when I first got it 2 yrs ago. Paid 99¢ for 10 faxes ahead of time. But each fax I sent I was charged 99¢ to my app account and when trying to reach developers, had no reply. Apple kindly returned my funds ($9.90) but why this app is still around is beyond me. I stopped using it once I found out they charged me for each fax, rather than the "bargain discount" I was looking for a fax app today and this popped up because I already purchased it. In haste, I tried to open it but my number account has been ALLEGEDLY changed, therefore, I cannot get a user name or password retrieval!

I just sent a 5 page fax from my IPad and it took less than 3 minutes! Im impressed ;)

I could never get this service to accurately work. I ended up installing a land line fax and canceling this service. After I thought I canceled the service they continued to charge me. When I disputed the charges, they tell me I still have an open account! And refused to refund me! They closed the ‘second’ account, however, we will see next month. I highly recommend anyone to NEVER USE this service by MY FAX or METRO FAX.

Simply stated it does not work. Every single time view faxes is pressed an error message comes up with no code. Just error and OK. Called technical support and their solution supposedly is to stop all programs for theirs to work? Actually that doesnt work either. Playing stupid on the other line doesnt work. Stating they dont know about it is ignorance as well as they can look it up as a complaint on various websites. This program is just not worth it. And tech support lacks any usefulness
